I had a bit of time and read your blog backwards in time. This made me laugh a lot. I like your poetry very much, like Robert Frost's poetry in some respects. I hope the comparison doesn't insult you; please don't tell me you think Frost was a hack! :)
By the way, however did you manage to fend off the swans? I thought they attacked in flocks.
